A truly magnificent and unique Russian enamel egg pendant. It is crafted with purple guilloché enamel over gilded silver. A skillfully engraved image of a mouse adorns the front part of the egg. (yes, a mouse!) 
Dating from 1908-1927, the pendant bears Russian hallmarks; the Russian domestic hallmark '88' indicates the silver content or purity of the piece. It means the item is made of .916 silver, which is a standard of silver fineness used in Russia. The pendant has the maker's mark of 'T.R'.  The overall condition of this piece is excellent, including the enamel.
