An Edwardian diamond fob watch pendant. The front of the piece is adorned with a gorgeous chunky rose-cut diamond (approximately a quarter carat), and the diamond 'flower' is completed with small eleven rose-cut diamonds and blue enamel outline. The total carat weight of the eleven small stones is approximately 0.14ctw. The stones are beautifully faceted, and reflect light magnificently. The back of the piece features a watch with Roman numerals. This watch pendant is crafted in 18k gold, and the original bloomed finish in gold feels rich and warm. The watch can be set with a tiny stud on the top by pressing it, and the winding crown feeds the watch. The watch has the most nostalgic and charming ticking sound, and it does work perfectly. When the front panel opens, it reveals' engravings- 'LAWSON & SON. OLD STEINE, BRIGHTON.' On the back of the lid, there are some marks 'J.M.B.C 18k' & '41887', maker's mark, 18k gold and the number for this watch. The large loop at the top allows this piece to be worn as a pendant with a chain, and it looks simple yet elegant when worn. This beauty is housed in a rare velvet double door egg-shaped box, and both the pendant/watch and the box have been preserved very well.
