C.1790-1820. Blissfully and unusually large-scale French foiled paste cross pendant. Set in sterling silver, the body of the pendant is created with gorgeous pierced scrollwork and foil-backed diamond paste stones. It is quite rare to find a foiled-backed paste cross at this unique scale. Signs remain of some old soldering repair at the back, which reinforced the current strength and security of the piece. Overall in very good and beautiful condition.
