C.1870-1880. A large mid-Victorian black enamel diamond locket. The locket has the matching diamond bail with three graduated stones. The center has an old European cut diamond that is approximately 0.40ct (G-H, VS2). And it is surrounded by 10 small old cut diamonds. The back shows a locket-back setting that is currently empty: perfect for a photo or a memento. We love the elegant black and diamond combination, and that goes beautifully with the current fashion. The gold tests 14k, and the locket is American in origin. Overall it is in good condition.
Total Drop: Approximately 2.30" (including the bail)
Width: 1.30"
