A 19th Century Carnelian Swivel Scarab Ring. The carved carnelian is double-sided, and it swivels. The front is carved as a domed scarab, and the other side depicts a hunting figure. Scarab is a symbol of rebirth and resurrection, and was often used in Egyptian revival jewelry as a popular motif. This ring is set in 14k yellow gold. The last photo shows this scarab swivel ring together. This listing is for the larger-scale ring. (the one on the left in the third photo.)
