C.1800. A lovely pair of Georgian opaline and paste forget-me-not flower earrings. It is rare to find Georgian opaline and paste jewelry. These earrings are a love token carrying a ‘Thinking of You’ message symbolized by the forget-me-not flowers. The enchanting design of the earrings shows a dangling flower made of opaline glass with a clear paste stone for the center bud, while the leaves at the top are pretty blue and clear paste stones. Each earring is slightly different and one is a bit shorter than the other; the pair shows a lovely mismatched look. Set in silver, the earrings have new 15k gold wires, and are in good condition.
