C.1880. A large Victorian black enamel locket with diamonds and pearls. The center of the locket has an old mine cut diamond surrounded by seven luminous pearls and four small rose cut diamonds. The locket has a simple and timeless design, which still feels modern and chic after nearly 140 years. The matching stripe design in the original bale makes the locket more complete. Inside, in two photo compartments with glass covers, there have remained a couple's hand-colored photographs, and those can be easily removed if requested. The locket feels rich in hand with its substantial weight (48g) and its large size. Overall it is in great condition without missing any enamel work.
