A 19th century gold and chalcedony intaglio ring. The ring has beautiful handmade quality- the high profile setting and the floral details in pierced gold work strikingly well together. A large chalcedony shows the carving of 'Trojan' horse, and is dated 500 to 700 AD. (a good example of a 19th century Victorian era intaglio ring set with an ancient stone) The gold test 14k. The ring displays some signs of wear. Overall it is in great condition with the natural patina in gold.
