A wide Georgian black enamel mourning band from 1812. Unusually simple and clean cut design makes it versatile and easy to wear with other rings. We love it when it is paired with other black enamel or banded agate mourning pieces. (see the last image paired with one of our unique Georgian mourning bands.) The ring is 22k gold and English hallmarked - London 1812 with the makers mark 'I.P'. The lion passant was used for 22ct gold until 1844. The ring doesn't appear that it was worn much also with the indication of that there is no inscription. It has been preserved beautifully. Overall the ring is in great condition.
