C.1822. A beautifully chased Georgian gold band with a hidden compartment. The band has a secret compartment that opens from inside. It contains a lock of woven hair that has remained intact. The ring shows the elaborately done inscription- John Hardwick, ob, 16, April 1822 Aet 53. The hidden compartment opens and shuts properly with a good snap. The ring is 18k gold, and overall is in very good condition. This rare beauty is great for stacking or on its own for unisex.
