C.1840-1850. A rare opaline paste pendant. This pendant is particularly magnificent because it originated as a pendant (rather than as a converted brooch or any other ornament), and has been well- preserved. The paste stones around the opaline centerpiece sparkle equally and beautifully; all of the stones seem to be original. The original bale contains three large paste stones. The pendant is set in silver.
Size: NS approximately 50 mm (including the bale) / EW 25 mm
In Great Condition.
