C.1790-1800. A very rare Georgian Wedgwood Jasperware green beads necklace. Each bead is crafted with a flower petal motif at the top and the bottom, and the eternity hoop design at the center body completes the bead. The shade of green is utterly gorgeous, and the color makes the necklace a rarer piece. On the close inspection, slight imperfection and color variation can be seen on some beads, and this is a sign that these beads are from the late 18th century to early 19th century, rather than late 19th century or later, as the skill for making the beads by hand was not complete at that time. The gold beads are later additions to protect the beads from rubbing each other. This bead necklace is re-strung and ready to be worn. Overall in great condition.
