C.1870. A Victorian Etruscan banded agate and white enamel gold locket. This gorgeous locket features a bullseye banded agate cabochon at its center and six matching square-cut banded agates around it. The locket is oval shaped, and is adorned with white enamel details and gold rope works with granulations. A locket compartment is on the back, and it is lovely to see the original matching bale with consistent white enamel work on it. With the rich contrast of black and white, the consistent banding patterns and colors correspond beautifully. It is 15k yellow gold, and overall in very good condition.
