C.1870-1880. A gorgeous Victorian bloomed gold large locket with a sizable opal cabochon surrounded by 24 small rose cut diamonds. This semi-translucent natural opal cabochon is about 3.50 carat, and has flashes of saturated florescent hues of red, green, blue and orange. On the back, there is a glass compartment, and a photo of a lovely girl remains inside. (very easily removable) The locket compartment opens and shuts properly. Beautifully designed bale makes the locket more unique. The locket is 18k gold. Overall in very good condition.
