C.1821. A wide Georgian blue enamel memorial/mourning ring. The gothic script reads 'In Memory Of' around the band. The top and bottom edges are hand carved, and the engraving inside shows 'Ann Page Ob. 6 aug 1821 Aet 74". The enamel work was beautifully restored; we found the ring as it is. This ring shows a gorgeous contrast between deep royal blue and rich yellow gold. Fully English hallmarked: 'SG' makers mark, 18k gold, London 1821. The ring is overall in great condition.
